Lake Size:  12,028 Sq. Mi.

Fishing Species:  Lake Trout, Arctic Grayling, Lake Whitefish, Arctic Char

Lake Notes:  Largest lake located entirely within Canada.  Max. depth of 1,463 ft., average depth of 235 ft.  1,690 miles of shoreline.  Great Bear Lake is ice covered for 8 months a year(Nov-June).  Great Bear Lake has produced world-record Lake Trout and Arctic Grayling catches.
